#100 - Richard Hammond's Vampire dragster crash
Series 9 Ep 1 (Early 2007)
Richard's Crash was a turning point for the show. It was the first time that really, that they need to take things a little more seriously, and the reality of what they were doing sunk in. This is Richard Hammond himself talking about the crash.

#99 - Jackie Stewart teaches May how to drive fast
Series 8 Ep 5 (Mid 2006)
James May is called Captain Slow for a reason. So the production team decided to get a retired block named Sir Jackie Stewart to improve his track driving. As a result, Jackie manages to cut James's initial lap time by 20 seconds. It's interesting how Jackie handles this, and I think James is pleased by the result...

#98 - Caterham Seven kit car race
Series 8 Ep 7 (Mid 2006)
One thing you would of thought that never would of happened, is the top gear lads building something on their own. Watch Hammond and May, Clarkson has a hammer! Yes they are arguments, but on the whole the top gear boys did a good job of building a kit car, under time pressure.

#97 - German Performance Saloon cars (BMW vs Audi RS4 vs Merc)
Series 10 Ep 10 (Late 2007)
One of the best "comparing 3 cars" tests that they have done over the years. All three cars has something over the others, and each presenter fighting their corner. The Stig and for the only time ever, the Stig's Wife (or Girlfriend?) makes this a classic. This race circuit would feature on Jeremy's DVD, supercar showdown too.

#96 - BMW M5 Review
Series 6 Ep 9 (Mid 2005)
One of the best examples of Jeremy, telling it like it is. The first half of the review he points out all the various faults with the car, but then, with a touch of a button, he goes on to say that its one of the best cars he'd driven all year. One of Clarkson's best road reviews.

#95 - James first review on test track: Zonda vs Veyron
Series 12 Ep 4 (Late 2008)
After 5 years, it was inevitable that James would end up doing a car review on the Top Gear Test Track, and his first he comes with a bang. He reviews two of the fastest and most expensive cars currently on the market. For his first review, this is great stuff from James, and it just shows how versatile he is as a presenter.

#94 - X Type in snow
Series 4 Ep 9 (Mid 2004)
Making good use of the weather, Jeremy reviews the Jaguar X Type in the outskirts of his home town of chipping Norton (which is evident when he waves to passers-by). Jeremy packs up the Jag with all the things you might need if you get stuck in the snow (of course, Jeremy being Jeremy, he goes a little over the top) and then goes skiing! One of the more funny "sensible" reviews.

#93 - Marauder (Big Hummer) Review
Series 17 Ep 1 (Late 2011)
When I first saw this in the opening montage of the series, I thought that it was just going to be a "Oh no, I've smashed everything in sight" kind of review. However, Hammond proved me wrong (as you can tell, since its on this countdown), as this is a very informative and funny at times review of the Marauder, aka a Big Hummer.

#92 - Ascari A10 Review
Series 10 Ep 9 (Late 2007)
Jeremy was told that at the end of series 10, he could not review any more supercars. So how did he get round this problem? He reviews a normal small car, the Daihatsu Materia. But then, he compares it too a close rival, the super quick Ascari A10! He does go on to review that car, but interestingly, he does compare the two cars, which just shows you the difference from a small car to a supercar! Great review.

#91 - Bugatti Veyron vs Eurofighter Typhoon race
Series 10 Ep 3 (Late 2007)
As Hammond states in the film, the Veyron has featured in a race against a private plane, and May maxed out the Veyron to its top speed. But now comes the real test, can it win against a Eurofighter? Have a watch and find out...

#90 - Honda FCX Clarity
Series 12 Ep 7 (Late 2008)
This one of the more interesting films in the last few years of top gear, giving us a glimpse into the future of motoring. It's extremely surprising that 4 years on, we seem to be no further forward. Hopefully this film will have more relevance soon...

#89 - Tesla Roadster
Series 12 Ep 7 (Late 2008)
With this being the opposite side of the coin, Jeremy's review of the battery powered supercar was interesting in a number of ways. This car showed that yes, supercars will not die out if the whole car future is battery powered... Thats good to hear!

#88 - How much Lorry do you get for £5,000?
Series 12 Ep 1 (Late 2008)
With the team going through all the different types of transport, it was only a matter of time until Lorries were involved. The boys frustrations were pretty clear from the start on just how difficult these trucks are to drive. Some good challenges are found here.

#87 - Ford Focus ST
Series 7 Ep 3 (Late 2005)
One of those car reviews that appeared on the show, that I can't quite explain why I like so much. The camera is very impressive, with the angles and the way the orange of the ST stands out an awful lot.

#86 - Ford Transit van around the Nürburgring in 10 Minutes
Series 6 Ep 7 (Mid 2005)
After Jeremy just managed 10 minutes in a Jag, when Sabine Schmitz said she could do that lap time in a van, only a fool would bet against her. The results are very impressive indeed!
Screenshot
#85 - Ayrton Senna Tribute
Series 15 Ep 5 (Mid 2010)
Senna is one of the best F1 drivers ever, and this is Jeremy's tribute for him. 'Nuff Said.
Screenshot
#84 - Audi R8 vs Porsche 911 Carrera S
Series 10 Ep 2 (Late 2007)
Audi, making a supercar? Of course Jeremy would like it, and when Richard brings his 911 along, the fan boy war starts. It's interesting that this is one of the first times that two cars are tested on the track with two presenters.
Screenshot
#83 - Simon Cowell
Series 10 Ep 5 (Late 2007)
The clash of the titans arrives here for the second time, and doesn't disapoint. Just as good as the first interview, Simon and Clarkson bicker and argue like children, at our entertainment.
Screenshot
#82 - Boris Johnson
Series 12 Ep 6 (Late 2008)
Since the first interview, Boris has become the Major of London, so Clarkson spends little time in discussing "important" matters with him. Boris himself is quite funny too, considering he is now a major.
Screenshot
#81 - 24 Hour Endurance Race
Series 10 Ep 9 (Late 2007)
One of the most ambitious tasks the team has ever done, the 24 Hour Endurance Race is certainly a big tick in top gear's: we've done that list. Featuring some great driving by all the team, it just shows they have lots of skill.
